In March 2019, Ciputra implemented the installation of Radar Speed Sign system on the internal main roads to control and warn the traffic speed of vehicles, bringing one new experience in traffic culture and ensuring absolute safety for residents.

Entering the Ciputra Urban Area, people probably are no stranger to the image of the residents of all ages and skin colors cycling to school on Eco-Path walkway embraced with green trees, or security guards standing and professionally carrying out flow distribution for vehicles and pedestrians at intersections. The uniform color of security guards appears everywhere in the urban area, from the “check-in” gate, internal road, general campus to the foot of the buildings, especially the image of “traffic police” at all intersections and roundabouts carrying flow distribution to ensure safety for residents and all people involved in traffic in the urban area, which is rarely seen at other urban areas. These are daily familiar but meaningful and practical images, promoting internal security and order even when the urban area has been put into operation for a long time.

In addition to the allowable speed warning signs when travelling within the area, Ciputra recently has invested in the installation of radar speed measurement system and warning signals in all major roads, especially school areas, intersections and roundabouts which get large traffic. This system has been widely used in developed countries such as England, France, and the United States and operated with the mechanism that radar will automatically scan and display speed of the nearest vehicle; and the Led lamp post will display in green if the speed is within the allowable range and in red if the vehicle exceeds the specified speed. Clear and intuitive images on the Led lamp post will help traffic participants to be aware of their own movement speed, thereby adjusting accordingly. Furthermore, the information obtained through this system will be the basis for analysis to recommend the most effective proposals for safe transportation problems within the area.
