    On August 10, 2021, Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata as Managing Director of Ciputra Group attended the Webinar with the topic “Sharing session on doing business in Vietnam” held by the Embassy of Indonesia in Vietnam on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

    This event aims to share success stories and experiences of Indonesian investors already operating in Vietnam on opportunities and challenges as well as to discuss about Vietnam economy and its bright prospects in the future.

    According to Mr. Budiarsa, Vietnam is a country with many advantages to attract foreign investors such as large population, relatively large economy, stable and strong government, investment-friendly government, availability of human resources. He impressed with Vietnam Government’s successful polities to promote high economic growth, with political and social stability.

    Mr. Budiarsa highlighted that, as a pioneer developer in the large-scale real estate project, the key factors to help Ciputra Hanoi achieve the success include: adapting to local custom, endurance for market penetration, sufficient funding for unexpected constraints, building public & social facilities to ensure inclusiveness, focusing on corporate social responsibility, creating environmentally friendly lifestyle and training of local staff.

    On the event, Mr. Budiarsa expressed gratitude to Vietnam Government, Embassy of Indonesia in Vietnam, Indonesian and Vietnamese Government Office, the relevant Ministries, The Hanoi Peoples Committee and two local Joint Ventures (Hanoi Toserco at Pullman Hotel Hanoi & UDIC at Ciputra Hanoi International City) for the valuable supports over the last 28 years, helping Ciputra Group to achieve the level of today success.

    Around 150 participants joined the online discussion, comprising real estate, construction, banking, food companies, journalist and government officials from both Indonesia and Vietnam.
